I went sunday to race, but was unsure how the points system works, and if my points were even kept by someone? how do I find out what I have and everyone has. Thanks to all the Richmond dragway staff I really had a fun time.

To earn points in your cl*** -regardless of cl*** you must join the Finish Line Club program - for Street and Strip its $25 for the season - beginning in April thru September, points will be tabluated following ET Points Races and posted here on www.richmonddragway.com and on the tower window - The system is 10 points to cl***ify at a race, 5 points for each round won and 2 points to win the race, 1 to runner up!

Hope this helps you understand things a little easier - come to race control to join the FLC Points Program - we've got the paperwork there!

Well since I no longer have the Firebird, I wonder if I could run my stock 99 Saturn SC2 in the points race? I hope it goes faster than 17.00 :confused:
Can I sign up at the tower to join the points race the day of the first race?
Also, I may be getting a new car during the summer sometime. Would I be able to change cars and still keep my number and points?

You can race anything that fits the rules of the cl*** - and you can change cars during the season as long as you move with your points number to the new car - use the points number at every points race!

So, 6 years ago S/S clas.s had points :( Seems like anough people runnin this clas.s, How many of us would it take to try this again?

maybe Advertise for next season, If we cant get enogh people to sign up, offer a return???
