Pat Cotman passed away Friday, April 15th

Published by Johnny Davis on April 15, 2011

Fearless Top ET competitor and wonderful friend to many at the track, Pat Cotman passed away on Friday April 15th following a lengthly battle with cancer.

Cotman was a fixture in the Top ET ranks with her “fleet” of Ebony and Ivory Racing entries including the trusty Malibu and her dragster.  When she wasn’t racing, husband Stan was at the controls and Pat held down the fort as “crew chief” although something about the sidelines wasn’t quite as fun as being on track!

“Pat was a fierce competitor and a wonderful person who loved racing and more than that, love just being with her “track family.”  She fought a very brave battle with cancer for a number of years and through those trials, I found a person who was committed and tenacious in her “battle”.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew her” commented Johnny Davis, Track Operator.

A service for Pat Cotman will be held on Friday, April 22nd at 2 pm at Nielson’s on Laburnum Avenue near White Oak Shopping Center.    Thanks for your prayers for Stan and the family and friends that Pat leaves behind!
