Bodmer and Washington cash in for the Collision One Paint $10 Grand Slam

Richmond Dragway, Sandston, VA – Scotty Bodmer and Wesley Washington each took huge wins April 30^th and May 1^st cracking the back for $10,000 wins at Richmond Dragway during the 2^nd annual Collision One Paint and Autobody $10,000 Grand Slam.

On Saturday, Bodmer used a 4.7447 pass (4.74 dial) and a .0170 bulb to turn back Wayne Tinnell, 4.6421 (4.61 dial) and a great .0067 light for the win. Scotty and his crew celebrated in Victory Lane with Beau Morris from Collision One.

Sunday’s final round pitted Wesley Washington Jr. against Michael Shoop. Washington was .0171 on the tree and ran a 4.6731 (4.66 dial) to oust Shoop’s 4.7270 (4.72 dial) and .0257 light. For Washington it was yet another big win in a year filled for him with some outstanding race wins!

There was plenty of additional racing action with a High Roller Gamblers on Saturday night that paid out over $3400 to win and Kenny Melton Jr. took the victory in that race over a red-lighting Wesley Washington Jr. Saturday afternoon, Duane Allen took home a more than $2500 payday in the Gamblers race after beating Daniel Harris in the final round. Sunday had another Gambler Race with another $2600 plus up for grabs as Tim Thomas knocked off AJ Currie for that victory. To wrap the weekend, Jake Milstead was the Pit Bike Challenge Winner on Sunday morning over Travis Lee.
