2012 Season Schedule

The 2012 Season Schedule for Richmond Dragway is now available for download HERE.

“We look forward to an exciting and groundbreaking season on the track in 2012 with a blend of the most popular and longstanding events on our past calendars plus the addition of some great new programs and adjustments to the racing season that we are thrilled to introduce” said Johnny Davis, Track Operator.

The schedule includes 14 AED Performance ET Points Series Events, one of the richest ET programs in the mid-Atlantic with the chance to qualify for the 2012 IHRA Summit Finals Team, Summit World Championship and the Mid Atlantic Challenge Finals, 14 AED Friday Night programs with Street Legal and Open Test and Tune available at each event, the debut of the 3 series Showdowns with Match Racing, TnT, and 5.00 Doorslammers, the return of the $10 Grand Slams, the AutoFab Raider Challenge, IHRA Summit Pro Am Tour, Halloween Klash fueled by Sunoco and the New Year’s Nationals on January 1, 2013. New for 2012 include the introduction of the Door Warz featuring $3000 to win Top and $2000 to win Mod for doorslammers only in April and the 2012 IHRA Summit Team Finals in September along with the season ending “King of the Track” where event winners during the season in Top, Mod and JD will race for a free bonus purse.
