Speciality Programs

Richmond Dragway has a series of Speciality Programs for our AED Performance ET Points Series participants including

Beal Racing Engines Dyno Challenge and Twisted Kolor Koncepts Helmet Makeover Runoff Programs 

These programs are designed as a “runoff event” for our Top 8 AED Performance ET Points Season Finishers.   In Superior Tire Top ET and Superior Auto Modified, the Top 8 from both classes do a Practice Tree Runoff at the AED Performance Champions Banquet to determine a winner in the Beal Racing Engines Dyno Challenge where the winner recieves a 1 day Dyno Session at the state of the art Beal Racing Engines complex in Thomasville, NC valued at $2000.00.  

The top 8 in Junior Dragster Standings battle it out on the practice tree during the AED Performance Champions Banquet for a custom designed and applied paint job to their racing helmet (helmet not included) from Twisted Kolor Koncepts in Manquin, VA.  This prize package is valued at more than $500.00

Rutherford Motorsports Vacation Challenge

Charles Rutherford and his family present a true “value added” sportsman program with the Serdendipity Beach House Challenge each season.  To each AED Performance ET Points Series Event Winner in Top and Mod, Rutherford presents a certificate that is good for 25% off a one week rental of their Vacation property in beautiful TopSail, NC - To top it all off, at the AED Performance Champions Banquet, every winner from each AED ET Points event during the season has his or her name placed in a “hat” and a drawing is held for a one week complimentary rental of the Serdendipity Beach House from the Rutherford Motorsport Family.    For additional information about the Beach House or for rental questions, visit http://www.rutherford.ws/business/rentals.htm

Susan McLauchlan Jewelers Ladies Challenge Series

This series is a 3 event series of races each summer for Lady Drivers in STREET LEGAL Cars racing for trophies at each event (no buybacks and just $15 to participate weekly).  Points are kept (no additional entry fee to join) just as they are for the AED Performance ET Points Series and the season champion in the Ladies Challenge Series recieves a $500 Gift Certificate for a jewelry purchase from the Susan McLauchlan Jewelers in Ashland, Va.  Stop in to Susan McLauchlan Jewelers for great prices and a wonderful selection of fine jewelry and thank them for their support of the Ladies Challenge Series - call SMJ today at 804-550-2505
