Hours of Operation and Entry Fees

Richmond Dragway’s gate times and race day schedule is:

Saturdays (April, October, November)

Gates open at 11 am, time trials at 12 noon, tech closes at 2:30 and eliminations immediately following the 2nd time trial (usually 3 pm)

Saturdays (May, June, July, August, September)

Gates open at 2:30 pm, time trials at 3:30 pm, tech closes at 6:30 pm and eliminations immediately following the 2nd time trial (usually 7 pm)

Non ET Bracket Event Saturdays

The time schedule varies by the event so check out our “Schedule” page or call the racer’s hotline at 804.737.1193 for each week’s event details.

Friday Nights (All season)

Gates open at 5 pm, fun and grudge runs from 6-10 pm, tech closes at 9 pm and staging lanes close at 9:40 pm.

AED Performance Friday Night Street Races and TnT

General Admission $10 per person, Car and Driver (to race) $15, Kids 12 & Under FREE - Parking is FREE

AED Performance ET Points Events and ET Bracket Racing Events

General Admission $12 per person, Car and Driver (to race) Top ET-$45, Modified ET-$35, Street & Strip-$15 and Junior Dragster-$15, Kids 12 & under are FREE and parking is always FREE. **prices may be higher for select events, check out our “Schedule” or the “This Week” Box on the homepage for details**

Test & Tune Event (with FREE $1000 Gamblers Race)

General admission $12 per person, Car and Driver (to race) $25-30, Motorcycle & Junior Car and Driver $20-25, Kids 12 & under FREE and Parking is always FREE
