AED Performance ET Points Series
A 14 Race series (best 13 events count to points total) of ET Bracket Racing action featuring Top ET, Modified ET, Street & Strip (points not tracked in Street & Strip) and Junior Dragsters.
These events feature a guaranteed purse for Top and Modified ($1200 to win Top and $800 to win Modified) plus each class winner gets a distinctive Iron Tree Trophy!
During AED Performance ET Points, Top ET, Modified ET, Street & Strip and Junior Dragster compete on the 1/8 Mile Finish Line. At non-points events, Modified and Street & Strip may use a 1/4 Mile Finish Line (see the 2012 Racing Schedule).
Richmond Dragway will qualify 40 drivers for the 2012 Summit Team Finals to be held at Richmond Dragway on September 28-30, 2012. It will be 15 Top, 15 Modified and 8 Juniors plus 1 “Big Car”wildcard draw and 1 “Junior Dragster” wildcard draw! Also, the top 50 drivers (20 Top, 20 Mod and 10 Juniors) are eligible to participate in the 2012 Mid Atlantic Championships at Virginia Motorsports Park in Dinwiddie, VA, October 19,20,21, 2012.
Drivers are also encouraged to participate in the IHRA Summit Superseries with the opportunity to earn a World Championship for ET Bracket Racing! Summit Superseries Information available here.
